Over $18,000 for the 2010 RCH Good Friday Appeal
Friday the 2nd April 2010 saw the Point Cook Fire Brigade once again door knocking the area for donations to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
The volunteers started knocking on doors at 9am in the morning and the last of them finished around 3pm. The final amount raised was in excess of $17,800 and would not have been possible without the assistance of the following groups:
- Altona SES
- Point Cook Cricket Club
- Point Cook Soccer Club
- Rotary
- St Johns Ambulance
- Yarraville Fire Brigade Museum
- Friends and Families of Brigade members
- Members of the public who turned up on the day and offered to assist
Most of all this would not have been possible without you, the public, and your generosity.
Point Cook Fire Brigade would like to thank all those who were involved on the day and we look forward to your support again next year.
