First (temporary) Point Cook StationPart of CFA's Region 14, the Point Cook brigade was established in December 2001.


Point Cook's temporary station was located in Point Cook Rd (formerly known as Aviation Rd) close to the RAAF base.
40 volunteer recruits were selected and underwent comprehensive training at Fiskville, the Smoke House at Melbourne Airport and at the temporary station.

 

 

First Crew

The first turnout by the brigade was on 27/08/2002 these picutures show the members who were present for the historic occasion.

New station site in Dunnings RdAfter some quite lengthy delays, the new Dunnings Rd station was officially opened in Point Cook on 30/04/2005 by the Minister for Police & Emergency Services, Tim Holding.
