Last night at around 2100 hours there was a shed fire reported in Shane Ave, Seabrook. Point Cook FB were first in scene to find it fully involved.
Shortly after the brigade arrived on scene, the MFB arrived and took control of the incident as the fire was after all in the MFB coverage area.
On speaking to some of the fire-fighters, after the fire was under control, they reported that when they arrived the shed was fully involved and flames were reportedly 20 to 30 foot high. Immediately the call went out to make pumpers 3.
No people were injured in the fire however the shed apparently was a write off.
Congratulations to Chris Cody (one of the latest recruits to Point Cook) who stated "I got to put the wet stuff on the hot stuff".
Another job well done. |
