Yahoo Groups has a great e-mail list that you can subcribe to called ozfire. And now they have a forum!
The email list was one of the most active I have seen and the following is the description of what the group is about. Primarily aimed at the hobbyist, OzFire allows the sharing of information and photographs of Australian fire fighting appliances. Photos and news of fire incidents in Australia are also welcome. Those joining should be aware that this is not a professional firefighter's forum. Neither is it one to discuss Fire Service politics, nor criticise Fire Service procedures. The OzFire YahooGroup allows all members to post and receive a photographic showcase of Australia's Fire Services.
However, they have now made the move over to a forum based solution at http://www.ozfire.org which is a much better format as you now have the ability to be able to retain a history of pictures. |
